Born on a cattle ranch, I grew up playing in the creek running through our property, exploring the hillsides, and chasing herds of deer on horseback. It was a way of life far removed from the average modern American, but one that forged my spirit of self-sufficiency and thoughtful observer. My name is Todd Porter.
I’ve always found comfort in nestling in next to life flowing around me and observing. Through my travels and daily perceptions, new perspectives continually are forged before my eyes. Picking up a camera to capture and seek these moments and perspectives was immediately a natural extension of my essence.
Today that essence, combined with a zeal for food, fascination with people, and a phenomenal partner/love I’ve forged a career I love: as a professional food, portrait & special events photographer. Ellen Seidman is a blogger, magazine editor and writer, and proud mom of two. She writes Love That Max, an award-winning blog about kids with special needs who kick butt. Devi Thomas joined the UN Foundation in 2011 as Director of Shot@Life. She oversees the campaign and strategic communications, branding and marketing needs of the campaign. Prior to joining the Foundation, Devi worked as a senior consultant in cause branding strategies. She also held the position of Director of Cause Branding at Cone, Inc, a leading cause communications agency where she specialized in corporate cause marketing campaigns and public-private partnerships. For over seven years, Devi has led strategic marketing, corporate social responsibility and shared value philanthropic campaigns, including work for clients such as Pfizer, ITT Corporation, Wal-Mart, and Western Union. She has worked on award-winning campaigns including ITT Watermark, ITT’s signature corporate citizenship program and Western Union’s Our World Our Family. She previously worked in marketing and communications at the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City where she helped build the Inner City 100. She is also a former reporter who has worked for Canadian Press and Reuters. Devi holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and a Masters of International Relations from Boston University. She is the proud daughter of Indian immigrants and is mother to Noah, her 1-year-old who receives his vaccinations right on schedule.
Jen Tilley is a Senior Account Executive at Mom It Forward by day. In her spare time, you will most likely find her in the kitchen covered in either flour, sugar, or both. She is the author, photographer, and recipe developer on How To Simplify, a blog that shares tips, tricks, and recipes to simplify life in the kitchen.
Her love of photography started at a young age and she quickly found herself spending countless hours in the dark room developing film. While studying journalism at Michigan State University, she enrolled in a photojournalism class, switched to digital photography, and traveled to the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic to study photography. She has studied photojournalism, as well as documentary, food, portraiture, and landscape photography. Samples of her work can be viewed on her photography site, Jen Tilley Photography.
She is originally from Michigan but now lives in a D.C. rowhouse. She was lucky enough to marry her best friend and they share their home with a boxer mix named Caster and a lab mix named Tugboat. You will most likely find her working on the computer, spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs, baking and cooking in the kitchen, taking photographs, traveling, or tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.
Paul has more than 13 years of experience in social media and online marketing. As a self- proclaimed, clear-eyed optimist, he believes in the power of the Internet to change markets…and change the world.

Paul’s background also includes a significant role in the US Federal Government where he was Special Assistant to the Secretary of Treasury, overseeing digital efforts and outreach. While at Treasury, Paul authored several articles on privacy, use of new media by government, and financial services in social networking.
Before the Internet Industry came along, Paul worked with organizations focused on public policy and he holds a Masters in Business Administration, and currently focuses his time on new media consulting for business and government. Paul speaks frequently at industry events, having spoken as the keynote, New vs. Traditional Media, at 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). William Morris/Endeavor Agency, Beverly Hills, California, represents Paul.
